Getabout to the airport day a massive success

Aberdeen airport held a bike to work day on the 24th June at which Councillor Kevin Stewart opened the airports new cycle shelter with solar powered lighting. The event was supported by Halfords who provided a mechanic for free tune ups and a goodie bag for cyclists. Starting at 07:00 the event was held right in front of the terminal building. With budget airlines restricting baggage cycle and fly is an increasingly popular option parking is free as well.
